Honey also has nine grandchildren. She loved to celebrate Christmas and birthdays with her family. On each occasion she would build her grandchildren's college funds. One of her primary aspirations was seeing her grandkids grow academically. Friends of Madera Canyon
Honey hiked thousands of miles in Madera Canyon, including 60+ summits of Mt. Wrightson. Friends of Madera Canyon provides education programs and maintenance of trails throughout the Canyon.
Project Apis m.
Honeybees were a big part of Christi's life. So much so that her grandchildren and children refer to her almost exclusively as Honey. Project Apis m. is a non-profit dedicated to honeybee research which Christi founded in 2006.
Monastery of Christ in the Desert
Christi often found peace and solitude in beautiful Catholic retreats and monasteries. The Roman Catholic Benedictine monks of Christ in the Desert, NM dedicate their lives in serving the whole human family by offering hospitality that aids visitors and guests in their search for God.

Tara remembers donating to St Jude's as an 8 year old alongside her mother. Christi supported research for the children's research hospital tirelessly for decades throughout her life. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
